If you are going to be in Gran Canaria between 12 and 22 March, you will be in time to see the Carnaval Internacional Maspalomas 2009! You can see the program here and most of the Carnaval events will be in the Yumbo Centre in Playa del Inglés.

Hmm it seems that the Las Palmas festivities end on February 28 and the Maspalomas ones start on 12 March! Oops!
