Maspalomas is one of the most popular resorts in Gran Canaria. With its golden dunes, upmarket hotels and beautiful beaches, it is little wonder that so many people flock here every year. Maspalomas is the oldest tourist resort in Gran Canaria and there is a 68 metre tall lighthouse there, as well as plenty of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops.

If you are staying in Playa del Inglés you can walk along the beach path to Maspalomas or get a taxi for a couple of euros. There is a nudist beach a couple of miles from the lighthouse (walk up the beach towards Playa del Ingles and you will see the signs).

hey there,
can you tell me why you are showing Gay Pride to be in August 2012,when it is clearly advertised everywhere else as being in May-as usual?
