Today I woke up to 40 degrees C… even though I have to work this morning I am definitely going to make time for a dip in the sea this afternoon. 40 degrees is not unusual in Gran Canaria in August but it tends to leave me feeling in need of a swim and plenty of drinks (not the alcoholic kind either!) These temperatures are forecast to continue for a while so if you’re coming over soon bring plenty of sun cream and don’t forget to drink lots of water!
